One Book

I have decided to people need to read more.

Last night I attended the annual Richardson Reads One Book assembly. I use that word because it was held at Richardson High Schools auditorium. High school auditorium's look all the same.

Anyway, Richardson is a decent sized city, and yet, we did not fill the place up. It was kind of sad. One book. People had a year to read one book.

Again I say, people need to read more. So, I'm looking to see if anyone is with me. I will give you two months to read a book and then talk about it.

I just think people need to read more.

I admit I need to read more. It's not for lack of books. I have a shelf full of them to read. I blame my school schedule and running schedule for eating up my free time.

That and every time I sit down to read I fall asleep after 2 pages no matter how good the book is.

I couldn't agree with you more, Victoria. I'm a reading fool. I'm part of the Amazon Vine program, which sends me free books periodically. I'm then supposed to write a review on Amazon. It's a great deal.

I'd be honored if you checked out my blog at www.foodczar.blogspot.com.

Love your writing, especially the restaurant reviews.

Keep up the good work!!!

I'm going to visit you as we speak.

Will choose a book soon.

Let me know the book so that I can read it too! I can at least be involved, if in a remote sort of way...
